I think the Gist of the linked article and more importantly the posts with-in it.
is sum'd up as 'long live OSS and Linux' and other such nonsense.
i admin both windows and Linux, and i can tell you both have strong points
use the correct OS or tool for the job.
Win2k/XP are both very stable, if properly setup, and Linux is not much differnt whereas the defualt setting
are not good. and building a workstation image takes alot of work on both.
either one can be stable.... its all about the admin...
